Why Did I Pick the Nintendo Switch for Handheld Gaming

I played video games as a kid and stopped once I got into high school. It wasn’t until I was in my mid 20s that I picked it back up again. As a kid, I played a few games on the Game Boy Color and I had a Game Boy Advance. My Game Boy Advance got broken, and my love for playing video games went away.
It wasn’t until I got my first tablet that I got me back into playing video games. Playing games on my tablet was fun, but the tablet was too big. I wanted something more portable and just for gaming. So, I started looking for handheld gaming consoles.
The first console I looked at was the Sony PSP. I saw someone with it and I thought it was the best thing ever. What I didn’t know was that the games were like mini CDs. At that time, me and CDs didn’t get along (in the past all the ones I had kept getting scratched up). So I searched for another console.
Just as I was ready to start my next search, I remembered the Game Boy Advance I had. As I was looking it up, I noticed Nintendo had come out with more consoles. The console I saw was a light pink Nintendo DS. At that moment I knew for sure that I was going to get me one.
To my surprise, getting a pink Nintendo DS wasn’t easy. So, I put a hold on getting a handheld console for a few years.
Just like everyone else, I heard the rumors about the Nintendo Switch. At first, I thought it was just that a rumor. It wasn’t I said an ad for an online Nintendo account that made me change my mind. At that time, I had no clue that you could download and play Nintendo games with a cartridge. That alone changed my thoughts on gaming, and it also made me look up the Nintendo Switch.
Once I saw it and all that it could do, I just knew that I had to have it. The biggest thing that stood out to me was that you could download free games. That alone made me want to get it. The fact that it gives Wii vibes is just extra.
