mobile gaming

Hi Girlies!

As a gamer, I also play mobile games. I don’t always play them, but when I do I like playing indie mobile games. This week I got the chance to play a really fun indie game called Ball Rampage.

When I read the title I was expecting it to be a basketball or football (soccer) game.

Now, once I downloaded the game, I quickly realized that it wasn’t a game about either. Instead, it’s a ball drop game that is ramped up. The game starts off slow and easy and quickly gets harder as you go up levels. There are 120 levels and I slowly moving my way up (slowly because I keep dying).

Now, when I first started playing, I was like this game is going to be easy and I will be done quickly. Well, I was wrong and if you start playing with this same mindset you might be wrong as well.

Things I Like

  • the simple design of the game

  • that it gets harder

  • the number of levels

  • the countdown in the beginning

  • the ability to get rid of the ads

  • the color scheme

Things I Don’t Like

  • you can’t turn the music off

  • the spacing of the ads

As you can see, I don’t really have a lot of dislikes when it comes to this game. I am currently on level 13, trying to get to level 120. If you have played this game I would love to know what you think about it and what level you are on. If you beat it, please let us know how much time it took you.

I would like to thank Nicpitah Studios for suggesting their game Ball Rampage to me. They had no idea that I would download it and write a blog post about it when they suggested it to me. All they knew/know is that they created a great game.
